Hi
I am looking at getting a road bike to go with the Boardman MTB that I've got.
Haven't done any roadie work before, so not sure how I'll take to it. So with that in mind what do you think of the following bikes please?
Carerra Virtuoso: http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/r ... large-54cm - I can get it for just about £250
or the Boardman Road Sport Ltd: http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/r ... ition-2014
- for about £385
Is there £135 worth of difference?
Thoughts much appreciated

I bought my dad the carrera for his birthday and I wish I had bought the boardman for him instead.
The Carrera doesnt feel like a proper road bike ( for me anyway ), the boardman just feels better, not necessarily better built, just a more refined machine all over.0 -
The Boardman does have some better components on but whether you'd notice it is really only down to you to decide by riding them if you can and seeing which bike feels most comfortable for you."Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"
