New build - project Scandium Kona

Got my hands on a 2006 Kona Kula Supreme frame that's never been built into a bike :mrgreen:

It's an 18" and weighs 1,350g on my scales thanks to superlight scandium alloy butted tubes

    where did you find that frame?? This is exactly what i wanted but its hard enough to find a normal kula frame! lol

    saying that there is one kula primo frame on ebay atm

    I'd love that frame....nice.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Stan's ZTR crest rims on Hope pro 2 evo hubs & tubeless Continental X-king tyres. Also KCNC rotors with titanium bolts

    Almost finished now, just need to wire up gear cable & shorten the rear brake hose. First go on the scales show 9.3kg :D

    I am sure it may handle more nicely with wider bars, but that's a sweet build.

    That's a nice light build, class. As a a clear XC bike the bars looks the right width to me to be honest.
