Blackpool

Spending a week working in Blackpool and want to take the bike.
Any 25 - 30 mile routes on quiet roads that any one knows of?
Don't mind driving a small distance to get to somewhere good

    Not really... you're in blackpool.

    Could ride along the front I guess!

    Closest trails to Blackpool that I know of are Billinge Hill, which is Blackburn and maybe 35min away, or Healey Nab near Chorley, 45min. Gtisburn is maybe an hour and a bit away.

    From what I gather, those first two are fairly short trails, not very difficult. Gisburn is a proper forest mtb trail. Unfortunately, Blackpool is kind of a dead area for riding.

    I used to drive the 2hr + drive to Whinlatter for a decent ride.

    Gisburn is fun though, and if you drive in the other direction you can get to Llandegla in 2 hours.

    There was some trails over in Longridge, but that was years and years ago!
