Balance Bike for a 2 1/2 year old

Hi all,
Does anyone have any recommendations for a balance bike that's cheaper than the Islabikes Rothan since I don't think I can convince the wife to spend that much?

Lots cheaper than an Isla Bike but obviously not in the same league as far as quality is concerned but still pretty good for the money.

They didn't exist when mine were at that stage. If they had, it's a great concept. Not sure if available in the UK (yet) but there's also a recycled plastic version.

Thanks for the suggestions - we ended up going to halfords for something else and the missus decided on a carrera coast since they didn't have the whizzer.
