Hi, sorry if this might be an obvious question but is this crank going to fit my bike ?
My bike is BB386 which the new crank says it is but in the description it says it's got a " Lightweight BB30 bottom bracket spindle gives additional stiffness " which has got me confused due to my ignorance of cranks/BBs/spindles/etc.
My bike is the following...

The crank I'm looking at is this one...

Thanks

No. Your bike is BSA so a standard 24mm axle. There's probably an adapter on the market but tbh you're better off buying a 6800 chainset.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

how is the rt58 aluminium frameset?
Regarding the crankset, just buy the 6800 or 5800 from shimano, much less aggravation with the bearings. Even an R565 for £49 would be good and certainly prettier than the tiagra crankset which must be ugliest bike component ever made...0 -
It's my first racer so I don't have any thing to compare it to but apart from the saddle not being the most comfortable and a slight tweak to the gears it's been great.
For the price V's spec'/weight I thought it was a good buy for my fist decent racer.
Even better value as I got it when it was £600 rather than the new £700 price !
It comes with a FSA Gossamer Compact BB386 EVO Chainset rather than a tiagra. I was looking at the other FSA chainset as it was on offer for a good price and was iirc 250-300g lighter than mine.0 -
If your bike came with a BB386 chainset then it would have the appropriate BB installed to allow you to make the upgrade. The specs list the BB as BSA which doesn't really make a lot of sense. Might be worth sending them an email.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

Just dropped them an email, thanks0

You can get a bottom bracket that fits a BB386EVO crank to a BSA threaded frame, so it's entirely possible that's what you have.
Having said that, there are more worthwhile upgrades yo could make, like wheels.0 -
Just copied this from the build/invoice ?

In that case yes, it will fit.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0
