Well, it's arrived. Ex demo bike but it's in cracking condition, hardly any marks and most of the marks that it was priced down for (the pics on the advert) ended up just being greasy marks that wiped off.
Need to sort out the cabling, not too bad though out of the box, have to commend Canyons bike boxing skills.
Spec -
Nerve AL+ 9.0 2013 model, with tapered HT and 142x12 rear.
Fox Talas 120-150 FIT CTD Factory 15mm axle
Float 150 CTD Performance
Maxis Crossmax ST wheelset with Mountain king 2.4's in BC
Sram carbon cranks
Sram X9 shifters
Sram X9 front derailleur
Sram X0 Type 2 rear mech
Avid X0 Trail brakes
Raceface stem & bars
Reverb stealth
Ergon saddle
Replacing my 2010 Stumpy FSR Comp, although I heavily upgraded the Stumpy will be interesting to compare after some proper rides.
Might get a slightly shorter stem and change the saddle, my bum doesn't feel like it's going to enjoy it. Also need to sort out the reverb trigger, has to be like that for now due to the matchmaker kit and I don't have a seperate clamp for the Avid & Srams to remove from the Reverb trigger.

Looks in decent condition for a demo. If you ever do a 1x10 conversion you can move the reverb remote across and under mount.Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL0

Aye that's how I have it on my Stumpy, under on the left side (right hand remote).
Intend to do the same, I hate having it where it is now it's waiting to get broken.0 -
Well after yesterday's mammoth 5hrs on it.
1. The saddle is going, felt like I was being rammed by moby dick.
2. It descends bloody quick
3. Climbs well, not as well as the Stumpy mind, the canyons saving grace is the fact it has a lower range and the ctd on climb helps
All in all very pleased with it.0 -
