Shimano 105 5700 Hub measurements
I'm wanting to build up a new pair of wheels using the new 105 hubs however I'm having difficuly finding the dimensions. The Shimano website isn't helpful because it omits this information for all of its hubs. Apart from buying them and attempting to measure them my self does anybody have the sizes or know where I can get them? http://cycle.shimano-eu.com/publish/content/global_cycle/en/nl/index/components/road/105_5700/product.-code-HB-5700-L.-type-..html

I usually find that sort of stuff on the "Edd" spoke calculator. Even really obscure hubs are there. The measurements are often taken from actual hubs, so they may differ from the official specs (not that Shimano give any hub specs), and from sample to sample.0

How annoying...I actually meant to title this post Shimano 105 5800 Hub Measurements because that's what I wanted
Anyhow, the hubs arrived and I used a good ruler and spring calliper to get the measurements and this is what I got assuming I have an ERD of 622 (all measurements hole to hole):
Front:
Left flange diameter = 38
Right flange diameter = 38
Left inside flange to centre line = 32.5
Right inside flange to centre line = 32.5
Spoke length = 304
Rear:
Left flange diameter = 44
Right flange diameter = 45
Left inside flange to centre line = 35
Right inside flange to centre line = 15
Spoke length left = 304
Spoke length right = 302

No rim has an ERD of 622... that's where the bead sits, how can the spokes get there?
612 is the shallowset I have ever used. What rim is it?left the forum March 20230
