Possible fork travel issue

Hi guys, I have a 2013 140mm travel epicon fork but when I put 100-105 psi in the fork the stanchion only measures 135mm. If I increase the pressure to 150psi the forks physically jump out of the lowers and then measure just over 140mm.
I'm a bit confused if this is normal or not? With the forks at 100psi the available travel will be limited to around 130mm rather than 140. The forks are 3 weeks old and have done this since then.
Any info would be appreciated, cheers.

Sounds like they still need to bed in a little. What sag are you running?0

Currently running about 20%. Seems strange why it's doing it, if I lower the pressure to 80 the stanchion drops and only shows 120mm! Maybe they do need a bit more time to bed in but they've had a few rides up Afan so I'm was hoping they're well bedding in by now.0

What happens if you try and manually extend the forks? let all the air out and pull them.0

Once the air is let out I can physically pull them out at around 80-100mm.0

send them back as they are only 3 weeks old0
