Hi,

I am looking at 1x10ing my HT and would like to use a Zee crank, the confusion I have is there are two. One is listed as 68-73mm shell width and the other is 80odd mm. Noy my BB shell is a press fit and is about 91mm. Its a shimano one currently running my XT hollowtech. I was thinking of getting a Zee mech and chainset and I was also wondering if my XT shifter will work.

I think the shifter will work and I need the 68-73mm cranks but I would like to be sure before I order.

Thanks,

Martin

One other thing I was wondering is just fitting the single to my XT crank. Do I need shorter blots? It's a double 26/38 type

68/73 is what you need. You could use the double but the chainline will be a little better on the Zee. If you do use the double, if you get a raceface ring you can use it graphics pointing inwards with normal bolts.

Thanks! I was looking at the race face rings, hearing so much good about them.
