can anyone recommend a decent one at a cheap price?
HD would be good if possible, needed for my delayed trip to Ventoux so may get a bargain if new models are due out!
need a bat that will last at least 2 hours

will then use on daily commutes

any help greatly appreciated

This was asked earlier this week so try the search function. The problem is that this is more a Buying Question than a Beginner Question so the previous thread may not even be in this section.

The answer inlcuded a link to Ebay.

ta, don't log in much so you'll have to forgive me if I'm repeating other peoples queries. I'm a beginner so I posted here as this is where I come for info

just followed your recommendation and got a page full of ads for various cams which I don't particularly want to trawl through, I'm looking for answers off experienced people who have bought one and whether it would suit my needs
answers such as ......this one by "X" would be suitable, because......
this one by "Y" would not suit

    thanks

    Went into Road Buying section.

Typed "Cam" into the search this section box.

This was top of the list:

    viewtopic.php?f=40042&t=12977399&p=18986477&hilit=cam#p18986477

    Took 5 seconds.

I have had a Contour for three years it works well. I bought it as it has removable batteries - which I replace mid ride and it gives me 5 hours plus of footage. Unfortunately this model is no longer available but I believe there is one without removable batteries which is also water proof (which mine is not) which should give you 2 hours coverage with the right size card. It mounts on the top of the helmet and is relatively aerodynamic.

Try these folk for advice & options

Their own branded could be what your after but battery life maybe an issue

Try DogCamSport. Mark there is a wealth of knowledge. Used to use him for the covert bullet camera systems on the motorcycle.

I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
