Hi!
I'm a bit of a noob but I'm thinking of changing my front forks soon. Apparently mine are non tapered, does that mean I need another non-tapered set?
Just wouldn't mind knowing the difference between the two?

The steerer not the fork is either tapered or not.
If you have a standard 1 -1/8th Headtube then you'll need 1-1/8 ie non tapered Forks.
If your headtube is over-sized then you'll be able to fit tapered forks but you'll also need a tapered head-set.
Tapered steerers are 1-1/8th at the top and 1.5" at the bottom.0
