Need road trip ideas.
Time it short (weekend only).
Where can you get to in the car to pitch up a tent in < 3 hours (SW London) that has a chilled out campsite (aka a field with no rules, no family sites, no Butlins, no static caravans) that has stuff to do aka a good pub (local ciders/ales preferable) and has stuff to do e.g. on the ocean;fishing/cliff jumping/swimming/other.
No bikes.
Not the Jurassic coast (Dorset), The Square and Compass pub is my long weekend default.
