Hi Guys,
Looking for a new set of brakes for my Felt Compulsion, mostly ride it in the peaks
Spotted some Magura disc brakes with a pretty good discount at rutland cycles
http://www.rutlandcycling.com/281706/products/magura-mt4-post-mount-disc-brake---includes-storm-rotor.aspx
They come with a 5 year leak free guarantee (this is what killed my last brakes!) so assume they are good.
Just wanted to know if these brakes are any good for the money?

Never used them myself but reviews suggest slx brakes are better or xt if you want to spend a little more.0

Shimano SLX on sale from Merlin for £89.99 for a pair, or £124.99 including rotors.
Fitted a set to my wife's bike this afternoon. They are simple to fit and work really well.“Life has been unfaithful
And it all promised so so much”

Another +1 for SLX. Mine are the 2012 models and have been faultless since I installed them. Work much better than my old Hopes or any of the Avids I've tried.Current:
