gurgling noise coming from shock.

I have recently noticed a strange 'gurgling' noise coming from my rockshox monarch rt3.
as the shock is less than 12 months old I decided it must be dry bearings in the main pivots,
replaced these and greased all the bolts but still there.
doesn't feel like there is anything wrong with the shock physically when I am riding it
but the noise is very annoying,any ideas?the bike is a cannondale rz 140 btw..

If there's no leaking (which may indicate a blown seal) then it could cavitation...

not noticed any leaking,is this gonna be a full shock service do you think?

If it's working ok but just noisy I guess it depends on how much it bothers you.

If it's under 12 months as you say, then you might be able to get it serviced under warranty.

DIY service is fairly easy on a Monarch.

been fiddling with the valve trying to remove it,made things worse!
hopefully this is where the problem is coming from..need to find a video on how to remove it with shrader valve tool.

I had this with my shock. When I let the air out to investigate a load of pink bubbly oil came out. Turned out the nitrogen seal had blown. Got it serviced at Mojo and it has been fine ever since.
