Afternoon :D

Right, while I've been slaving away again with my nose to the grindstone I see we let the morning slip us by

Work getting in the way of loafing is turning into a right pain in the aris, I shall do my best not to let it continue this afternoon

I did see though that all you lucky lot doing the Ride London this weekend have made it onto Sky News

Anyway, onwards to lunch and loafing 8)

Afternoon wastrels...well that's good, I can lounge around or go to the Cinema with my Boi in the knowledge that 20,000 fellow cyclists are being well and truly pi$$ed on.

Are you having any loaf for lunch then Arran, banana and chocolate chip loafing may be?

I passed my company medical with flying colours this morning so decided it was appropriate to celebrate by buying the office a round of bacon sarnies. I'm not totally sure what all these stats mean but the nurse said I was in very good shape for someone 'of my age' :D with less than half of the normal probability of dying from heart disease than the norm. That'll be around 50% then...

In related news, got a day off tomorrow to do some 'bonding' with Stropchild, so am taking her to the zoo and then Harrods where she can press her nose against the glass but not buy anything :)

You must be an old fart if you get a company medical already :P That's a good few years off for me

Yep, but I don't care. My mental age is still well below the threshold :)

Glad to know you all had a hard day.

Another day earning my pay for a change, though I did go to Rococo and get a free chocolate at lunch as the lass chipped one picking it up :)

Topped off with what I thought would be a heavy legged ride but became strong and fast. Happy days

Blimey, I got distracted by work so didn't post in here.
Company medical, no chance of one of those at my place. Just as well really, they took me back whilst I was still having chemo. Mind you, like Stevo I've been told by several quacks that I'm in good shape for someone of 'my age' recently.
Not a bad day today, enough work to help the day go quickly then did a bit to the Mini this evening whilst the lad was at rugby training. I'll ty and MOT it when we get back from our holiday.
Did I mention we're going on holiday next week?

Yep. I'm going to start rubbing it in a bit more in the next few days as well
