What used mountain bike?

Looking for some advice on what 2 used mountain bikes I should buy?

The first is a 2013 Trek Fuel EX 9.8 Carbon and the second is a 2011 Mondraker Foxy with upgraded re shock to Fox Float RP23

Any advice is really appreciated

    Full spec and price on both bikes would make it easier to offer help ;)

    Otherwise all I can say is I wouldn't buy anything carbon without a warranty, even just for peace of mind. I don't think Trek warranty is transferable so that would rule it out for me.
