As in the title really.
I'm looking for a 140mm/150mm trail bike, agressive would be good
Got about £2k to spend but may stretch to £2.5k for the right bike.
650b ideally but happy to go with a 26er for a good deal. No to 29ers.
Ideal scenario would be to get a Pike on the front too.
Oh and I don't want to go second hand.
Other than that, any suggestions?
Cheers

2.5k - Nukeproof Mega TR Comp in 27.5 - 160 front, 130 rear, pike included I dont see how this fails the test.
Canyon Spectral but you'd have to stretch the budget further top get pike.

As Paul said or the Nukeproof Mega AM Comp 27.5 for a bit more travel on the rear (160mm front and back).__________________

If I was in the UK I'd also be getting a NP Mega TR - they've got Pro's with Revs on CRC for about £1800, sell the Rev as new and get a Pike if you've got your heart set on that fork - still should come out under £2K
...but as I'm in the Alps I'd probably go for a YT Wicked Comp for that budget"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

Thinking of the YT Wicked Comp, don't think you can say no at that price.
Anyone got any experience of dealing with them?0 -

Have been some issues with frame cracking around the mech hanger on the Capra. YT have now addressed with a design update which all new orders will come with. Good looking bikes and great spec for the money though.
Bird Bikes are due to release a good valve FS bike very soon which should also prove to be good valve.Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL0 -

That would be a mega (Excuse the pun) bike for that money.... If you aren't in a real hurry the new Aeris 140/150 will be out towards the end of the year and £2300 would buy you an SLX level bike (with our normal XT/XTR bits and Evolve/Turbine build Kit) with a Reverb stealth & Pike 150 RCT3.... £2500 and your talking full XT and Turbine 35 buildA Flock of Birds

yeah, obviously don't have that problem in France. Only thing is rear travel is a bit short for around here so none of the guys I'm riding with are interested but looks perfect for some hard hitting UK riding"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes
