Chain/BB
Been getting a creak from the BB for a short while and whilst out on sat, only when climbing I started getting a heavy knock/clank from what sounded like inside of the frame @ the BB.
However about an hour or so later when pushing up another climb my chain snapped, well it didn't snap a pin had worked it's way out. After repair the noise was still there.
Yesterday I cleaned and inspected the bike and especially the chain - all looked fine and pins sitting correctly. Checked pedals and cranks and no play in either.
This morning on my commute I didn't get any knock at all, even though I have a decent climb half way.
Was the knock/clank likely to have been from the chain/pin working loose whilst under strain? Or could it be a sign of BB on it's last legs?
