Life/effectiveness of glue on spare tub??
Hello,
I have been riding tubulars for the past 12 months with no issues and therefore have had no need to replace either of my 2 current tubs with my glued up spare.
My query is, how long can I leave it before I should need to re-glue my spare (which I carry with me on rides)? It has remained pretty much folded up and strapped under my saddle for 12 months and since it was originally glued and folded (once 'dry' to touch).
For information, I have Vittoria Pave CG 25mm tubs which are all glued with Continental Tubular Cement/Glue for alloy rims.
Thanks in advance,
Nick

i redo mine every year-ish
depends on how recently the rim was glued, but if you go a long time without changing it's better to have a bit of tack remaining on the sparemy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0
