New BB broken

hi all.
i have rockerhopper comp about 10 year old .recently got back into the saddle afta few years off getting fatter .
just had the bottom bracket changed cost £50 too
but looked like they put a raceface one in there or sumthing good
anyways the other day i felt a little grind , but thought nothin of it ,but today i had to ride home about 10 miles with it creaking really really bad
will this damage the bike at all or just need another bottom bracket fitting ??
2 weeks old this new bb and it hasnt had any stick yet im just warming up for dably.

Take it back to the shop where you bought/had the new BB fitted as you should not have issues after two weeks0
