De Rosa Merak.. thoughts/ anyone got one?

So i've had a search on the forum and can't seem to find much about the De Rosa Merak.. I'm looking at one with ultegra

would love to hear about anyones thoughts who's got one

    Got an 888 superking, love it, the merak looks lovely also, rides fantastic, run mine with 9000 dura ace.

    Dura ace - real nice!! - Bet she set you back a pretty penny, but i'm sure its worth it..

    I was originally looking for another bike to use to commute to work in london with.. however i saw a merak in a local bike shop and just fell in love! - it's more than i really wanted to spend, but my hearts set on one now, so if anything i'm looking for someone to justify my spend for me : P

    I will then - buy it, it'll be fantastic and worth every penny!!

    Only half in jest. I was the same with a R838 a couple of years ago. Have never once regretted buying it.
