Hi all
I was in Go Outdoors today (not actually looking for a bike) and I saw this
http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/calibre-filter-flat-bar-road-bike-p296255
I have been thinking about a Hybrid for a while for riding about town, maybe a bit of touring someday, and at £379 this seemed like a lot of bike for the money particularly as it seems quite light compared to some of the big name Hybrids which are £100 more. It's described as both a Hybrid and Flat-bar road bike - I'm not sure of the difference between the two names. Is it the presence of slick tyres that makes it the latter?
Anyway, does anyone have an opinion of whether this would make a good buy?

It's not a road bike, it's a Hybrid, however it is very road orientated.
Not as good as the fit-5 from Decathlon which is similar money and blinding value.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
