Les deux alpes

this is now my closest and easiest to access place to ride on this years holiday.
can it be done on a hard tail or is it just too hard for them?
i'm not a jump lover so will be looking at fast xc and quick top to bottom routes that don't involve launching 40 + feet

I don't know enough to make smart r's remarks about peoples choice of parts 'n' things, yet!

Im positive you will find more than enough with a map and compass away from the bike park as well.
I live in Serre Chevalier which is about an hours drive from L2A and there's def a few more XC-friendly routes over here...

If you're over there I would head to Villard-de-Lans then. Much gentler mountains but also some gnar if you want it and nearer than L2A. Nice little village too.

Montgenevre has great little bike park. Lifts open last weekend of June so everything generally shut up there til then but yeah, you could've got a bike in Villeneuve for sure

They do a massive mountain bike festival each year. Here's the video for this years event;
