Rear derailleur clamp issue
Hey,
I was tightening the rear derailleur(shimano 105) clamp as it had loosened a bit and noticed the rear derailleur moved moved downwards when doing so and am not sure exactly what position to revert it back to or does it matter?
It's hasn't been bent inwards but just just more in a downward/forward position
Any help for this amateur would be appreciated.
Cheers

The mech has a torsion spring integrated the mounting pivot - it is designed to rotate forward and back. There is a 'dog' on the back of the mech which engages with the frame mech hanger. If you push the rear mech anti-clockwise it should spring back.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
