FS frame bearings.

Hi bought my first FS bike today a Trek fuel 6 2007 I got very cheap, It does have play at the main pivot below the rear shock which I assume means it needs new bearings here? I checked the bolts and they are all tight so have come to that conclusion. Is there any other areas or any tips for a good full service I can perform to an older frame? Thanks.

    One more problem is one of the bottle cage bolts is missing and there is no thread in the frame to screw to! I assume the bond for what ever thread was there has failed and has now left a useless hole! Should I just epoxy a hex bolt there or is there any other fix?
