What am I doing wrong?
Having removed the cassette for a jolly good spring clean I can't get it back on without it being wobbly.
I have the right tool, everything is in place.
The locking bit is centred and goes on fine but and then it all get off centre the moment I get to the business end..
I'm not tightening through one point, tightening around the cassette.
The wheel/cassette is now short of spindle and the only way the cassette will fully go round is if the frame is balanced on the skewer.
It's not helped by the fact I did the exact same thing on my other bike and now can't ride in the smallest cog.

pics please of the freehub body threads. If your lockring is not going on properly and goes off centre you have cross threaded it or have damaged freehub body threads.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
