I bought some forks off the forum last year rebas 2013 solo air 100mm model which were like new but i'm wondering if they need a service ?
I've done loads of off road miles on them well over 1500 and now when you put the front brake on with the forks locked out you can feel movement in the forks like it is flexing and a little bit of play in them.
I dont remember this before when i got them, is this worn bushings ?
The seals look in very condition so i wonder if is just worth buying a service kit and do it myself ?
I've been looking at sending to tf tuned for a full service but my question is does this sound like the forks need a full service ?
I'm happy to send them off but just wonder if i really need to.
Advise welcome as i'm wondering if this is one of the causes of another problem i'm sorting out.
thanks

Definitely. You should almost certainly have replaced the oil in the lowers at least a couple of times during those 1500 miles, so a full service would take take of everything. Worn bushings and/or uppers will be another story.0
