I’m thinking of getting a new pair of these but obviously heavily discounted as they are a 2012 model compared to 2013, 2014. These have the 188 hubs and as clinchers.
Is there any advice you could offer or reasons not to buy or go for a later iteration of the FC 303?

Afraid so, the revised hub is called V9, it has a crossed drive side and it was introduced in the 2014 rangeleft the forum March 20230

I don't understand why it annoys you... whether it affects 0.1% or 1% or 5% of the 188 hubs out there, the OP has the right to be informed given he is asking, then he can buy them anyway if he wishes...left the forum March 20230
