Converting a 2010 Pitch To 1x10

Hey,
After riding my bike my mate now want's to convert his 2010 Pitch Comp to 1x10 but is unsure of crank compatibility. I've had a quick Google for him but can't find out the BCD of his cranks. I'm thinking 104mm, but not 100% sure.
Here's his current spec:
Front Mech: Shimano M660 SLX, DMD, top swing, dual pull
Rear Mech: X-7 9sp medium cage
Shifters: X5 trigger
Cassette: Shimano HG50 9sp 11-34t
Chain: KMC 9sp
Cranks: Truvativ GXP2 2.1 2-piece
Chairings: 36 x 24T
For the 1x10 stuff he wants XT so I was thinking these should be ok:
Mech: XT M786 Shadow+ 10sp Medium Cage
Shifter: XT 10sp
Chain: XT HG95
Cassette: XT 10sp 11-36t
Ring: 32t Race Face Narrow Wide (dunno what BCD though!)
Can anyone see any problems with that set-up?
Cheers,
Lee

I would probably have gone for the 32T or 34T chainring if I hadn't needed to run as 1x9 for a while but I still have plenty of ratios to play with and have alight and simple setup that is yet to drop a chain.
