Went to watch the final round of this series tonight, for some reason it gets less publicity than the Tour Series. This was a completely new host town (replacing the normal Abergavenny round due to the Nationals being held there). Have to say it's a far better circuit than Aber with narrow, technical sections on a fast descent and a long, fairly steep climb on the other half of the course. It was a bit of a war of attrition with the lead group whittled down by the hill each lap. Alex Peters of Madison Genesis was probably the most active rider and seemed to attack up the climb most laps. Graham Briggs was also fairly lively on a course that I didn't think would suit him and ultimately took the win. Might be worth a watch on Eurosport (next Monday I think).
