Nice intro. Some interesting parcours but struggle to get excited given I know practically no one participating.

LLS is racing as are team 4-72 Colombia.

SkyDiveDubai were supposed to be racing. If I recall right they've pulled out of other races suddenly as well.

    Prologue done:
1 De La Parte Gonzalez VíctorEfapel - Glassdrive 08:56
2 Cesar Veloso GustavoOFM - Quinta da Lixa 0:04
3 Sanchez Luis LeonCaja Rural - Seguros RGA 0:10

Stefan Schumacher and Christina Watches are here - he's in 6th.

Much hillier than in previous editions. St2 into Braga looks good.

Doesn't this race usually uncover a few lower tier dopers each year?

Lol that attack was pretty funny - other-side of the divider which was pretty long. He didnt last long though.

Awful coloured kit on the front of the peloton right now.

Team Ecuador (despite being sponsored by Movistar) has 5 Spanish riders and 3 Ecuadorians.

Nice attack from 2kms out by Lulu, but it was always going to end as a sort of a sprint.
1 Bauhaus Phil - Team Stölting
2 Cardoso Manuel - Banco BIC
3 Vigano Davide - Caja Rural
    4 Cardoso Filipe - Efapel
    5 Shilov Sergey - Lokosphinx
6 Doi Yukihiro - Team UKYO
7 Andersen Asbjørn Kragh - Christina Watches

    Wasn't Vigano at Team Sky?

What was the name of the other Italian sprinter as well, he went off to AG2R?

Vigano was in the door at Sky in year 1 and out in year 2. Bit abrupt that one. Cardoso in 2nd was ex-Shack.

Tomorrow's stage is the one to watch (hopefully).

That covers the key road stages.
Fortunately, this race now only 11 stages long, not the 29 that it used to be! :)

Still there, did the Giro (4th in Dublin) and Tour De Suisse.
  • Good win for Lulu's team through Vigano, not so good from Christina's SS.
The stage failed to live up to any of the expectation, though.
