Update to previous posts:
Changed my mind when it came to making this a singlespeed as I went in to Halfords (yes I committed a sin!) and found I could build a 1x9 for less than a singlespeed conversion kit!
So she now moves, again though I have borrowed the wheels of my other bike, I am very pleased indeed! Brakes are coming soon.
Spec so far:
Boardman Comp 2013 frame.
Mosso 7071 alu fork
FSA bog standard headset
Shimano Tourney rear derailleur
Shimano Deore 9spd shifter
FSA 39T single ring
Shimano SPD/Flat pedals (for shopping run!)
Easton Havoc 75mm stem
RSP 685mm bars and lock on grips.
Still to come:
Wheels (not fussed what type whatever I can get cheap lol)
Brakes (on order, Avid BB5 mechanicals & 160mm rotors)
Saddle (probably a charge spoon!)
