Caught up with this earlier.

It's a funky little race and has [generally] good weather in Belgium!

Meersman has finished 2nd on each of the four stages so far to hold the lead.

I've been watching it and enjoying it.
Glad to see Meersman get the win rather than another second! :D

The might of OPQS strangled the life out of that. Another disappointing GC race from Lotto (Debusschere won St1) - crap tactically again.

Always interesting this time of year to see which racers need to put on a show to secure a new contract.

    Stybar looking good for Eneco.

I watched it today (and Monday/Tuesday finishes) near the end when the road became familiar .
Then the St Nicks climb but they stayed up top before rejoining the Liege route for the climb to Ans.
At the top they couldn't turn left for a finish because the GB supermarket and car park were open for business.
They turned right and later right again past the Motels that many of us have used, until the sharp right turn under the motorway into a tunnel and left to the commercial estate for the finish.
I remember that short tunnel when a railway line came that way.

In yesterdays finish Gianni Meersman got surprised by a fast finishing Tom Van Asbroeck (Bel) Topsport Vlaanderen who won the stage.
Today's final stage and Meersman's team delivered him to the front with another Belgian of Topsport Vlaanderen following his every move. Meersman was ready today for the late attack and held off Yves Lampaert for the win .
As you say :- 5 stages with Meersman having 4 second places and one win.
