I know saddles are tricky things but need some guidance for a comfy saddle, after todays ride I need a new outlook on this!
So I have a Henge expert 2013 on my camber all good works really well, on my hardtail I had a selle italia x1 and it was awful. So I got another henge and its terrible on the hardtail it's really awful. On my road bike I use an Avatar Comp Gel which got me through 9 hours on the saddle last week with no after effects.
Is it wrong to get another road saddle for the hardtail? or are there other saddles out there I can try, my speshi size is 143.
Any advice or links to other saddles which are comfy on the bum.

If a saddle's comfy, use it. Doesn't matter whether it says road on the box.I don't do smileys.

No 2 bums are the same . For what it's worth I have a fizik gobi that I find great. Try dropping rear tyre pressure a bit for more compliance.0

I have a Henge 143 and it was sore to start with but it's a lot comfier now.
Try a Charge Spoon as everyone who has one seems to love them.
As for a road saddle, the MTB Police usually turn a blind eye to that one so you should be okCurrent:
