More headset trouble

I finally bought a replacement bearing for the fork end of my headset. However, upon arrival the bearing I ordered doesn't have an angled inside edge and so sits slightly (maybe 1.5mm) higher on the fork itself. Everything else fit perfectly and it runs smoothly, but my worry is that this slight problem may anifest itself into a serious issue, potentially damaging the for or the frame. Should I change it or will it be ok?
Just ride.
