Hi,
Just after some help I have a 2009 stumpjumper ht I put a 720mm Easton Carbon bar on it with a 60mm stem but what I finding at the Moment is the front end is lifting on climbs very easy would it be worth me trying a 90mm stem?
By the way I mainly ride Xc
Thanks

why did you put the shorter stem on the bike in the first place?
what width bar/stem length did you have before.
if you are happy with the way the bike handles on everything other than steep climbs then just move your weight further forward.0 -

The stem came with the bike as it was 2nd hand.
I've tried putting weight over the front but the I'm losing grip on back.
I hadn't thought about changing the spacer positions as I'm still fairly new to the bike scene0 -
Try taking out a couple spacers and move them above the stem.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Ok I'll give it a try, will it effect the bike in any other way. ie more grip in corners on front wheel etc0

If you weight is more over the front it may give the front tyre more grip as it's pushing into the ground0
