Sounds pretty bad, he collided with a steam roller. Rumour has it at over 50kph.

Latest is that he's critical but stable which is promising news. Sounds like it could have been even worse but for prompt treatment.

Hasn't Tom said publicly that he is considering his future running the race Luke ?

That would be a real shame.
