New Upgrades for the Cervelo R3
Boxsters

Had the bike for a while so thought I would change a few things to try and improve the overall package.
The Combination of Mavic Kysrium wheels and Mavic tyres on a carbon frame meant the ride was pretty rough so I am trying:
Specialized S works turbo tyres 24mm - the tyres are no good for OCD as they have printed the S works in different places on each side of the tyre so you can't line them up with the Mavic stickers on the wheel
Michelin Latex tubes - had to literally force the valve through the rim.
FSA finishing kit was ok but a little heavy so now replaced with:
Zipp Speed SL carbon post
Zipp speed beyond black stem - the spacers are slowly reducing but may need to tilt the bars down a little.
There was a cheap slightly damaged romin Pro saddle for sale on BR so thought I would see if the reports on it were true. Jury is still out at the moment.
Also picked up a ludicrously expensive set of Token full (springs, levers, cams) titanium qr for a very reasonable £30.
And the last mod is the biggest and that is a Datatag bike kit as I had my last 2 bikes stolen.
Total weight is now 14.12lbs so not too shabby

That's really nice; what size frame is it please?
Once you're ok with the height of the bars/stem combo then chop the top off the fork column (ocd regs!) unless of course you maybe wont to keep it long so that if/when you sell it on in a few years there is room to play with for the next owner?
Maybe try some black zipp cx handlebar tape (Ribble have it at less than £12) - I use it and its superb for the price?0 -

Frame size is 56. I am between 56 and 54 but as its for comfort not for racing I thought I would go for the bigger size.0
