buying frameset from the far east....

just wondering if anyone has any experience with buying frameset from the far east in terms of:

a) import duties
b) VAT
c) any other surcharges.

I ordered a frame recently from a shop in Norwich, none of the above problems.

I bought a frame from Taiwan, and many small parts from various countries in the far east. My experience is that almost nothing will be charged. It does happen sometimes though, so make sure you have enough money to pay if you need to (~20%).
