Hi all,
I fancy a pith helmet style cycling helmet for my commute. Anyone know if any company is making such a thing? The nearest seem to be Yakkay but I dont really like them. Any ideas gladly accepted. Many thanks.

Not seen one; most "fashion" helmets look to be aimed at women. Since pith helmets used to be worn as bicycle helmets in late Victorian times, why not just buy one for £25, and you can add it to the dressing-up box for Gunner "Lofty" Sugden fancy dress, Last Night of the Proms, Madness concerts or just day wear in the current hot spell?

Is this thread taking the pith?

Off to see the Maharaja? (Chitty chatty bang bang quote....)

They are two tall to give effective protection (too much leverage) I would say...
