As title Planet X have increased the price of the RT-58 by £100 to £699 from £599 :(

Was considering purchasing one of these anyone think (know) the price will come back down anytime soon??

Otherwise I'm looking at the Ribble 7005 / Audax instead.

BTW will be my first road bike - I'm a keen MTBer however.

I know they increased the price of the carbon RT-58 a time ago. This was apparently due to it going to full ultegra instead of only 80% or so.

Well I've got several options open because I'm so in-decisive!

Bargain off ebay although I'm not very patient
    Merlin Malt-R for £550
Ribble Sportive / 7005 / Audax for approx £650 (with Tiagra and upgraded wheels)
Boardman Road Sport £450ish plus 10% british cycling discount
    Decathlon Btwin Triban 500 £450

And then I did the unthinkable and opened Canyon's website...... Roadlite AL 6.0 SL - gorgeous but £950 inc delivery!

    there is always the Rose pro sl 2000 - http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/bike/rose-pr ... aid:668081

2014 and 2015 models for £846 and you can customise the specs. I have no experience of the bike or the brand but they are highly regarded and under 8kgs...
