Replacement brakes and shifters

I want to replace the cable disk brakes that came with my bike. However the brake levers are part an integrated brake & shifter pods so I will need to replace the shifters too. The bike's gearing is 3x8
I've been looking at Brakes: Deore M615 (levers and calipers) £35 each and Shimano Acera M360 8x3 speed Shifter £22 for the set.
Does this seem like a good selection?
Is it worth trying to find shifters and levers that are ISPEC or integrated? Don't seem to be many for 8 speed. I'm just wondering that since I'm used to the integrated type that there might be a bit of a reach.

Perfect.
ISPEC will not be possible.0 -
The reach will be fine - excellent brakes, and you only need one finger.I don't do smileys.

You will need to trim the hoses, easy enough to do, and if you're careful they won't need bleeding but might be worthwhile having a bleed kit on hand.
Useful guide, and their bleed kits are cheap and excellent.

Thanks for the advice.
One thing I've just thought of is the mounts. Could be wrong but looks like IS on both front and back. I see there are IS-to-post adapters around. Is that all one needs to do? If so, any particular brands to avoid or go for on these?0 -
A mount is more or less a mount as long as it fits.0

Nice one thanks guys. All ordered.
Now just got to decide whether to have a go myself or just pay the LBS to fit it all.0 -
Have a go. It's easy. Although unless you have a vice, easiest with an extra pair of hands.I don't do smileys.
