Single Speed choices

Would be grateful to have some advice thrown my way.
Looking for a single speed but trying to make up my mind between a Charge Plug 2 (£370 or so from Wiggle) or a 2013 Specialized Langster (which I can get for 450 from a local bike store).
My commute is about 6 miles in and out of Glasgow; mostly flat but with optional hills. No city centre riding though.
I've ridden Specialized bikes in the past and liked them but worried that the Langster might be too aggressive geometry wise for what I need (I've got no interest in velodrome riding for example).
