    How can one inner tube possibly give a better quality ride than another? The pressure is taken by the tyre carcass (and hence the tyre and tube's response to forces acting upon it are governed by the tyre carcass).

    Its thinner and more plyable.

    Certainly more useful in terms of making balloon animals out of them. It wouldn't improve ride quality though.
