I think the GS (medium cage) has a max. capacity of 35T so you'll need the long cage"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

I have the same 2x10 setup and I'm using a long cage as per Shimanos guidance
Also worth noting Shimano are very exact with their setup.. When they say a medium cage won't fit they mean it0 -
I was running a medium with 36/26 and 11-34 and it was on the limit. I would go long for your set up.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Easy enough to work out ;-)
14 difference in the front cogs.
25 difference in the rear cogs.
Add 'em together = 39
So your mech needs a capacity more than that ;-).0 -
On a ht you can get away with 10t spacing on the front, but on an fs it's 8max.A Flock of Birds
