Can anyone recommend any good value sleeveless jerseys?
With the current warm temperatures I think it could be handy to have 1 or 2.

I have a few running sleeveless tops, BUT they have no rear pockets and as I always have to pack stuff in my pockets, these are not up to the job alas.

I had a very quick look, but just wondered if anyone had seen any bargains out there?

Budget - probably £20-£40.

Crima against fashion of the highest order. Probably the reason Aussie Rules hasn't caught on outside of Aus.

+1. Not even the pros where sleeveless jerseys.

on a more helpful note try some of the online stores. I'm sure if you type in sleeveless cycling jerseys you'll pull something up.

By the way, the item you run in used to be called a singlet and before that it was a vest. Happy hunting

How will you cultivate your tan lines with a sleeveless jersey? Shame on you.

Rule #7 // Tan lines should be cultivated and kept razor sharp.
Under no circumstances should one be rolling up their sleeves or shorts in an effort to somehow diminish one’s tan lines. Sleeveless jerseys are under no circumstances to be employed.

Just thought I'd leave this here for you.

If not just wear a running top and a saddle bag. Because you're already breaking the rules.

If you want them then the best bet is to look at Triathlon stuff - most triathletes seem to wear them. Some of them dont have pockets either, some have smaller or more discreet pockets but I think others have normal ones.

I do actually have a Castelli one, but they dont seem to sell them in the UK - I got mine from Italy. http://www.amazon.com/Castelli-2013-Sle ... B004YWF5GE - see not only the linked item but the bar of listed alternatives with pictures lower down - lots of them in the US.

Regardless of what the other say in this thread, just wear what you want.

Oh, if you want to complete the look make sure you don't wear socks, and put your helmet on back to front.

Unless you are committed to one make of jersey and bibshorts this rule is virtually impossible to achieve as each manufacturer has a different view of length of sleeve, cut and length of shorts.

For me maintaining razor sharp tanlines can only be achieved through the aplication of a strip of helicopter tape to each arm and leg around the end of sleeve and short zone at the start of the shorts season. The downside is that you end up with razor sharp shave lines as the hairs continue to grow under the helicopter tape although that is usually easily and painfully resolved when the missus rips the tape off at the end of September.

Wiggle do them, the fit is terrible, the look is poor, but it does help with the tan lines. not enough to justify the purchase though.

    yes I own one
