I think this quiz might be defective.......

I got 1) Lawn Bowls   , 2) Athletics (sprint), 3) Cycling (sprint)........

Of course, there is a lot of crossover between lawn bowling and sprinting. I believe Sir Chris was previously on the National Lawn Bowling team......!

    1. Wrestling
    2. Judo
    3. Boxing

    Don't get in my way!

    Did you know...?
Wrestling is considered the oldest sport on earth. It is depicted in cave drawings dating back to 3,000 BC Approximately 1,200 enthusiasts regularly take part in wrestling through the UK Ken Richmond (Vancouver, 1954) won England's first Commonwealth Games gold medal but is better known for being the shirtless man who bangs the enormous gong before Rank's British-made films

Now, where did I leave that mankini?.....

I've just been watching BBC breakfast and apparently multiple olympic medal winning swimmer Rebecca Adlington should have been a cyclist!

I'm down as middle distance cycling then middle distance swimming and finally in bronze is long distance cycling.

I used to be a medium swimmer, very slow but I could keep going. Then I took up whitewater kayaking and decided I hated swimming (all that winter capsizing into cold water). My swimming abilities then dropped to virtually nothing. I can never be a good swimmer, I am just not capable of doing it. I nearly drown trying to do a breast stroke for the length of our local small pool. I can swim enough to save my life but that is all I can do. I tried to do that freestyle swim where you put your head under the water. I found I could not get the timing right with the breathing. That and I can not breathe underwater!!!

I used to do long distance challenge walking so I know I could do long distance cycling but I was never any good at the long distance walking (not that fast).

All in all I think it is too simplistic and meant as a cynical tool to try and encourage people to get into the BBC coverage of the Commonwealth games. I neither believe this little quiz nor believe I will watch the Glasgow Games.

Squash, badminton and long distant cycling.

I take it the ones that get judo and wrestling are a bit on the porky side?

There is no need for that. I can hardly call myself 'Porky'. However, some may call themselves 'Porked'.

Oi! Nothing wrong with lawn bowls. My daddy was the national singles champion in 1976, beating the great David Bryant (him with a pipe) in the semi-final.

I was given triathlon...urgh. Not sure how hot you like your food has any bearing on aggressiveness, I guess they couldn't ask how likely you were to chin someone in a hypothetical scenario.

Athletics (throwing), swimming, and wrestling. I think they are trying to say I'm a fat, lazy f***er.

There might be something in that :P Rubbish quiz.
