Knocking on a single speed
Hi all,
Ive been experiencing a knocking noise on my single speed bike lately, it doesn't do it all the time, it seems to be when the bike is under more load i.e. going up hill or going fast etc.. if i stop pedalling and then start again, then sometimes it doesn't do it.. so frustrating.
I had a new freewheel fitted about 3 months ago and to me it sounds like its coming from that area, but my lbs says it could be a bottom bracket, but it just doesn't sound like its coming from there,
Only problem is, it only does it when pedalling, not freewheeling, Ive recently greased the rear hub. and the bottom bracket doesn't feel like there is any play, neither does the back wheel..

Check the BB cups are tight and the threads greased?0
