10,speed conversion.

Got a new bash ring new new chainring and clutch mech rear mech. Question is will I need new chainring bolts or will the ones of my 2x10 race face set up fit?

They may be short enough or they may be too long and need spacers. Won't know until you try...

bro in law's 2x XT bolts were fine for going 1x - would maybe have been too short to add a bash as well.

My current set up has has bashring integrated but I'll just try first and possibly save a few Bob.

Plastic bashrings need longer bolts, every alloy ring I've had had the mounting thinned down to chainring thickness and stock bolts fit, I can't ever see you needing shorter bolts when using a bash.
