Bike carrier for Mondeo

Hi Folks,
I am trying to sort options for transporting my bike. Problem is I have an 09 Mondeo without roof rails. I have read that a rear mounted carrier is not an option as the rear bumper is made from newspaper. I dont have a towbar so thats not an option either.
While normally I can stick it in the boot if I am travelling with the family (mrs and 3 kids) thats not an option.
Anyone else solved this problem? Apparently sticking the kids on the bonnet is not allowed

I have the same car and you are correct, a rear mounted carrier is not an option.
I use Thule aero bars with proride bike carrier to carry mine on the roof.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Is it an estate or saloon?
I have the estate without roof rails.
I got my bars and a thule 591 from one of the online ford parts places (will find link).
Will be moving the mondeo on in a few weeks - roof bars will be available._______________
